But there is a big problem, the thinner the veneer is, the easier it is to break and crack during application, especially some veneers need to be less than 0.3mm, or even as thin as 0.1mm.

In order to maximize the use of natural wood resources, to protect the environment and reduce the cost of use, people consider cutting the wood veneer as thin as possible. But there is a big problem, the thinner the veneer is, the easier it is to break and crack during application, especially some veneers need to be less than 0.3mm, or even as thin as 0.1mm. These veneers are difficult to use effectively without further processing. In order to solve this problem, Fleece Backed Faces came into being.

Our Fleece Backed Faces offer the highly decorative veneers with a durable and flexible backing.  The ultra-flexible veneer is bonded to the fleece backing making the veneer easier to apply to any chosen substrate.  It is easy to cut down to any required size or shape and the veneers thin structure gives the flexibility to the sheet which allows it mould around curves and other tricky orientations.
